GEN V S1 REVIEW ๐Ÿ˜Š

Our review will hopefully save the day and level your expectations for the first season of GEN V.

E1-E3ย ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜Š

“GEN V is a fresh, edgy, humorous, and bloody-as-hell spin-off from the original series THE BOYS. It is set at the Godolkin college campus, where hormones are running amuck.

E4 THE WHOLE TRUTH ๐Ÿ˜Š

“THE BOYS has always been a fantastic show at opening and closing. The three seasons have some of the best and most offensive action sequences of all time, which surprisingly has you care about the band of misfit characters in it. Cut to GEN V, and after four episodes, the series has a similar challenge. The pilot was superb, while the following three episodes have been good, not great. Outside of two sequences, the (whole) truth is that E4 is the weakest.

E5 WELCOME TO THE MONSTER WORLD ๐Ÿ˜Š

GEN V needs to get it more together. I am ready for a super war fight of gigantic proportions. Just keep feeding Emma!

E6 JUMANJI ๐Ÿ˜Š

In JUMANJI, we take a โ€œhead tripโ€ inside Cateโ€™s (Maddie Phillips) mind, allowing for several overlapping stories to have their moment to shine. Yet, none of the kidsโ€™ stories are as engaging as if the leads wouldโ€™ve been in the real world like they are during the final few minutes.

E7 SICK ๐Ÿ˜Š

“GEN V was SICK. Supes have got to learn to โ€œstay out of our headsโ€ and โ€œdo whatever we want.โ€ Air-born viruses be damned. Who cares about the infection rate, genocide, or war crimes? Itโ€™s all in the name of โ€œjustice.โ€ย

– Esta

E8 GUARDIANS OF THE GODOLKIN ๐Ÿ˜Š

“Into the woodsโ€ we go for the season finale of GEN V. The spinoff that could have soared to the heights of Homelander flying through the air, but instead, simply hovered close to the ground.”
