FIT FOR CHRISTMAS 🤮 

FIT FOR CHRISTMAS is a part of CBS’s holiday rom/com movie month. It is not worth your time unless you have already binged HALLMARKS’s entire December season. 

I love the genre of romance mixed with laughs and a little drama. FIT FOR CHRISTMAS was just too predictable. It was as if the entire ensemble was just trying so hard to win the viewers over. Too many “teeth” showing in every smiling frame or irritating moment of “acting.” Just shouting “ugh” and stamping your feet does not reveal any level of honest, authentic feelings. The dialogue made me think I was watching a bunch of cheerleaders trying to win over a crowd. When Audrey (Amanda Kloots) was leading the exercise classes, I thought she was definitely on the manic side of instruction. What was I thinking watching this film? 

FIT FOR CHRISTMAS was unrealistic for any small-town story, even around the holidays. It took Amanda three years to get her film idea produced. Maybe the studio should have passed on this one.
