FISK S3 REVIEW ๐Ÿ˜Š

FISK is a sarcastic, blunt, humorous Australian comedy show. It does not waste an extra second getting to the heart of the matter at hand, and it is definitely an acquired taste. Audiences will either love or hate it. I have always enjoyed its quirkiness, but I do feel the first two seasons were a bit stronger than the third. This, however, does not change my overall opinion. It is still a hoot to watch.

The pacing is fast. FISK owes its timing not only to the writers but to a phenomenal core ensemble. At the helm is Helen (Kitty Flanagan), who can keep a deadpanned face while expertly delivering one-line zingers. She cracks me up. I am not only mesmerized by her talent, but also by her wardrobe choices. She is a delight in a baggy, brown pantsuit.ย

Helen is surrounded by her colleagues and cohorts. Roz, George, and Ray are brilliantly crafted characters who complement the office shenanigans perfectly. It is great fun to watch their improvised moments. It would be tough to keep a straight face. Wish there was a blooper reel.ย

FISK is a popular series for those who love unconventional, bordering on bizarre humor. If viewers are game, it wonโ€™t disappoint.

It is streaming on Netflix.ย
