FAMILY SWITCH really did not need to be made. It is a recreation of a recreation. The original FREAKY FRIDAY was the best because it was new and innovative. FAMILY SWITCH was just tiresome.
The best part of the film was watching Jennifer Garner dance similarly like in 13 GOING ON THIRTY. She never seems to age. The worst idea was having every family member switch around. There has been a bunch of chatter about a certain kiss in the movie. Believe me when I say…awkward and very cringeworthy. Ugh! Several scenes fall flat and as the film progresses, it is impossible to laugh and feel comfortable again.Â
FAMILY SWITCH is not worth your time unless you just want to listen to something while wrapping holiday presents. It is available on Netflix.Â
