EXPATS presented a movie-length episode that explored the private lives and gossip behind the people employed by the Expat community. It was an emotional journey spoken in their native language highlighting loneliness and not being seen or truly valued as a human being.
EXPATS borders on the edge of emotional upheaval. The torrential rain and typhoon weather added layers of deep cleaning and honesty. It was filled with gut-wrenching moments that took my breath away. “Perhaps death is a resolution.” Kudos to the writers and the entire ensemble for creating such a powerful punch.
EXPATS do not present the rich in a kind light. There are far too many “takers” in our world who use the less fortunate. It made me feel embarrassed for humanity and not comfortable viewing. I will not be able to see umbrellas in the same way again. It is streaming on Prime Video.
