Pixar’s latest TV series is miles above MONSTERS AT WORK and continues the adventures of Carl (Ed Asner) and his best friend, Dug the dog (Bob Peterson). Although it’s bittersweet hearing Ed Asner’s voice for the last time (he died on August 29th), the show is a love letter to grumpy old men, man’s best friend, and of course, squirrels!

Here’s my breakdown of each ten-minute episode written as though I am Dug.

Hi readers. I’m Dug. I am now a pet, pretending to obey.

Episode 1: SQUIRREL! ๐Ÿ˜Š
I like squirrels. I do not like when they take my food. I learned a lesson that I do not like to feel sad and mad.

Episode 2: PUPPIES ๐Ÿคฉ
Puppies are cute. But watch out. Puppies have sharp teeth, and they eat all my food. I did not know I could teach puppies, and I learned that I like to share.

Episode 3: SMELL ๐Ÿคฉ
I learned a new scent! I do not understand why my owner got mad at me for what I digged. I could be a hero like LASSIE after what I smell. But please keep all hot dogs away from me. They make me feel guilty.

Episode 4: FLOWERS ๐Ÿ˜Š
Fireworks are pretty flowers in the sky, but the boom is way too loud. I prefer to sleep.

Episode 5: SCIENCE ๐Ÿคฉ
Oh no! I’m in LOOK WHO’S TALKING NOW. That’s okay. I learned what it means to be a pet. It means I have a best friend.

My show, DUG DAYS, is on Disney. You know, the one with a +.
