DOCTOR WHO S1E8 EMPIRE OF DEATH 🤩

DOCTOR WHO thrilled fans with an exciting, entertaining, and extremely bittersweet finale for their season. If “time is indeed memory, and memory is time, then this reviewer will remember the dust wave with all its aftermaths forever.

The writers had a field day introducing so many sci-fi theories and thoughts about the galaxy. The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) does exceptionally well battling life vs death. I loved the concept that one of our strongest weapons is always the most ordinary moments and people. It was a powerfully written script that offered depth about the meaning of our existence.

Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) and The Doctor gave audiences a heartfelt episode taking everyone on an inner roller coaster with incredible speed and emotional peaks. It was brilliantly performed and made me reach for a Kleenex several times. Again, the homage to past Doctors was thoughtful and treasured. The Tardis holds secrets we all can’t even imagine. Kudos to all.

I wanted DOCTOR WHO to not end. I am so ready for more mysteries to solve and species to meet. Needless to say,  I can’t wait for its return and what could possibly happen next. There are big shoes to fill next season for sure. I will be ready with my whistle in hand until The Doctor arrives. “Such a beautiful face.”

DOCTOR WHO is streaming on Disney+.
