DEXTER: RESURRECTION S1E7 COURSE CORRECTION 😊

DEXTER: RESURRECTION showcased how much in common, and “emotionally deficient” serial killers are. The writers set us up with an uneven episode filled with threats, innuendo, a salsa, and a killing. It indeed had intense, bloody moments.

Oh, what will Dexter (Michael C. Hall) do about the Ortega problem? I shudder to think. The smell of the hunt is on, igniting “purposely and repeated harm.” Hall can project pure evil merely using his dark eyes. His smoldering, slow-burning look says it all and keeps my heart racing while watching.

DEXTER: RESURRECTION is at its best without all the subplots. They can take audiences down unnecessary paths. It becomes messy with too much chatter. I need to concentrate entirely on Dexter’s next move.

It is streaming on Paramount+ Showtime.
