DEXTER: NEW BLOOD is slowly, intensely building to a grand finale of murder and mayhem. I want it to move faster, but I realize that is just not Dexter’s style.
Kurt Caldwell (Clancy Brown) is one step ahead of everyone, and it is taking a toll on Dexter (Michael C Hall). Harrison (Jack Alcott) idolizes him, besides working part-time at Kurt’s truck stop. Dexter has no control over his son without revealing his “dark passenger.” Debra, portrayed by Jennifer Carpenter, has changed her tune about everything.
Is Kurt a serial killer, or is it someone else? Does Harrison have a chance of living a normal life? And what the heck happened to Dexter in the final minutes of the episode? Can he ever let his guard down? Obviously, not. I want to see the next installment now, please.
DEXTER: NEW BLOOD is written so well, with sarcasm and an insatiable need to “follow the blood” or, in this case a large screw.
