DANCING FOR THE DEVIL: THE 7M TIKTOK CULT ๐Ÿ˜Š

DANCING FOR THE DEVIL: THE 7M TIKTOK CULT is a three-part documentary dealing with dancers who become trapped within a management/religious group led by the Shekinah Church and Robert Chin. This film shares the upward battle that faces parents trying to bring their children home.ย

The story is told through familyย interviews, clips, and reenactments of those victims who made it โ€œout.โ€ It showcased young adults who were seeking fame and fortune but found themselves deep within the clutching entanglements of believing their leader was the โ€œMan of Godโ€ he professed to be. This was a sad film that did not end well for everyone and is still ongoing today. Several decades have been lost to this cult battle.ย

My heart broke for the parents who are continually fighting for the well-being of their loved ones. When is it possible to move on when all they receive is silence in return? I just canโ€™t imagine their pain.

DANCING FOR THE DEVIL: THE 7M TIKTOK CULT is not easy to watch. It gets repetitive sometimes, and more editing would have been helpful. There were too many snippets of watching the dance routines, the childhood pics, and silent moments of angst. The families want to make sure everyone is forewarned. Being brainwashed can happen to anyone at any time. I hope that one day they receive the fairest, most loving conclusion to their hard-fought journeys. It is streaming on Netflix.
