CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM has always been a hilarious series. Larry David goes out of his way to make sure he scrapes the very bottom of cringe-worthy comedy. THE LAWN JOCKEY showcases the best of this type of humor, and even though the audience can see what is coming, none of us can look away.
The acting ensemble knows who their character is totally and how far they can stretch those boundaries. It is the plot connections that are carefully woven together with these brilliant actors until the final frame when the sh** hits the fan and explodes. Who knew Mocha Joe, a lawn jockey, and hair dye could bring such together such a huge belly laugh? Obviously, the writers, Larry David and Jeff Garlin are far wiser than any of us.
