CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM made me feel DISGRUNTLED. I am not sure if it was with a “big D” or a “small d,” but I am definitely craving a turkey roll with organic eggs.
This week’s episode was hilarious and over-the-top as usual. I am in love with Tracey Ulman as Irma. Together with Larry, the audience needs to be forewarned of non-stop ad-libbing dialogues. I can’t get the sound effects of Larry getting up in the middle of the night to pee out of my head. “Fwop…fwop.” Anyone have a cup or a bowl?
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM goes “there” every time for the audience and the sheer audacity of brilliant entertainment. Who knew there could be a show about a “breakfast grudge,” an 11 am deadline, and an image of “long balls.” My mind is swirling trying to make sense of it all. As a fan, “I am in a completely safe space” with Larry David. Kudos to the storyline and actors who bring it all full circle each week. It is streaming on Max.
