COUNTDOWN S1 REVIEW 🤮

COUNTDOWN better come back for another season, but only to conclude the possible violent cliffhanger the writers dumped on viewers’ laps. In my mind, the final three episodes were unnecessary. Everything ended with number ten, and then the task force took on another whole new plot line and evil terrorist. I didn’t get it. It didn’t connect. I was content and done after the first ten.

COUNTDOWN had many slow moments amidst exciting chase and shoot-out scenes. The writers enjoyed taking viewers to numerous locations, each one named in huge block letters on screen. This got old very quickly and slowed down the action. It felt deliberate and plodding. The interaction between the team of investigators seemed stiff except for a few sexy, lusty, gratuitous scenes. I invested thirteen hours of my life in watching COUNTDOWN. I just wanted even more than what was offered.

COUNTDOWN left me in the middle of a field. This was not fulfilling at all.

It is streaming on Prime Video.
