CONSTELLATION is a confusing sci-fi drama series. One surprising, accident on the International Space Station can change the astronauts forever. It then becomes a challenge to live a “normal” life.
The writers are keeping viewers on their toes throughout these first three episodes. Most of the time, I find myself saying out loud, “What the heck just happened?” The script is popping back and forth through different scenarios or dare I say, timelines. At this point, I am not sure. I am just trying to keep up. I sincerely hope we get answers soon, and it does not become another LOST moment. Then I would be asking for precious seconds back.
Jo (Noomi Rapace) and Bud (Jonathan Banks) are fascinating characters. Their sanity and power are the foundation for the show. They seem to be unraveling…or is it just coming from one false perspective? I wish I knew. I am just as in the dark as everyone else. I have no theories of the “matter” staring at us from within the CAL. Oy. I am compelled to watch, wait, and see.
CONSTELLATION is a mystery. It is intriguing and I hope has a huge pay-off in the future. It is streaming on Apple TV+.
