CHUCKY S2E8 CHUCKY ACTUALLY 🤩

The finale episode of television’s most insane series has brought us the horrors of the holidays. Skipping ahead a few weeks from last week’s shocking penultimate, we’re brought to the final few days leading up to Christmas. Lexy, Jake, and Devon are finally given some semblance of joy and merriment, but we all know that won’t last for long. After a really sweet scene between Jake and Devon, Chucky brings everyone’s glad tidings of great joy to a screeching halt. Santa Clause is coming to town, indeed.

We also reach a very satisfying arc to the Glen/Glenda storyline, and I can’t wait until next season to see where they end up. Nika finally gets a little agency over her narrative, and Jennifer Tilly, once again, proves to be the series’ MVP—the brilliant, campy performance she delivered this season has paid off, leading to a cliffhanger for the ages. SOMEONE GIVE HER HER EMMY NOW!

The series’ second season has been, without a doubt, some of the craziest and most unpredictable television to broadcast in recent years. That being said, the third season seems to have a lot going for it already based on this final episode, and I can’t wait to see where in the world we’re taken next.

Thank you, Don Mancini!

CHUCKY is available on SYFY.
