UNACCOMPANIED MINORS 🤩

I’ve always liked airports; I think they can be beautiful, representative spaces, often with floor-to-ceiling windows, sweeping landscapes, and even the ergonomic wonder of the chairs. That being said, my goal in an airport is to spend the least amount of time humanly possible from the entrance to the plane. Which is why I think Paul Feig’s 2006 UNACCOMPANIED MINORS resonates so much with me – and maybe even formed my opinions on airports in the first place. Based on…

EVIL DOES NOT EXIST 🤩

Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s EVIL DOES NOT EXIST is an unsettling, haunting, deliberately slow-moving drama that blends allegory with a captivating plot. THE SANTA CLAUSE 🤩

Christmas time can be difficult if you don’t celebrate it. EMMET OTTER’S JUG-BAND CHRISTMAS 🤩

The legacy of EMMET OTTER’S JUG-BAND CHRISTMAS is somewhat complicated and confusing for me, almost 50 years later. It was first released on CBS on December 4, 1977. I was 3 years old and recall already being a huge fan of THE MUPPET SHOW and SESAME STREET at that age. This unique special is also from the mind of Jim Henson, who produced and directed it. EMMET features hand-puppets (Muppets), marionettes, and even has an introduction from Henson’s most famous…
