I canโt wait until the end of the series, BEFORE, airs its finale next month to let viewers know if creepy, psychological thrillers are your thing, then you should be watching this show. It stars Billy Crystal, and seeing himย as a shrink trying to help a troubled boy and make a difference takes my breath away.ย
BEFORE got my attention because Rotten Tomatoes panned it, yet the conundrum is that the high rating audiences have given this freaky look at dealing with gut-wrenching fear, evil, and violent behavior. The plot boggles the mind. I cannot make heads or tails of what is really going on within a childโs mind. It makes me come back for more each week. I need to know the answers. I am hoping for a clear-cut payoff at the end.ย
BEFORE also features stellar talent such as Rosie Perez, Judith Light, and Jacobi Jupe. I must warn you that it is intense, confusing, and totally intriguing. There are just too many professionals who donโt know how the brain is triggered. It is an imaginative journey into uncharted territory. There are five more episodes yet to come. I must know… which makes a good, mental TV thriller.
