BAD SISTERS shared a crazy, captivating, and compelling story for their season of possible murder and mayhem. It was brilliantly scripted and acted out by the entire ensemble.
Each week viewers never knew what “dark comedy of errors” would flash across their screens. The sister’s attempts at ending “the prick’s” life were outrageous. Whatever could go wrong definitely did…and then some more. I had no idea how the finale would play out. It was a shocking and well-deserved conclusion.
The casting of the sisters was perfect. Each had their unique quirks that fed into their personalities and characterizations. They came alive and brought us into the plot in a caring way. Murder is never okay, but the sisters made it look pretty typical for their family’s dynamics. I would have gleefully joined them in their attempts and then charged off the cliff into that frigid water.
The writers never lost sight of the show’s central theme of family first. It was evident in all ten episodes that the audience could appreciate the genuine love these women had for each other. It was beautiful and memorable. All families should have each other’s backs…no matter what. (I am sighing. One can dream.)
BAD SISTERS is must-see tv. It is fast-paced and worthy of your time. I will miss this family. They made me roll my eyes, shake my head, and smoke in disbelief.
