BAD MONKEY’s finale ended with a wink and a nod for possibly another season. This would be great for the “cop of the world” who has the gift to gab and instincts to solve homicides. Yancy (Vince Vaughn) can’t be a health inspector forever.
The show had an exciting and entertaining conclusion as the writers wrapped up all the subplots. Karma was in the air right beside the pool of blood. I guess ‘letting go’ works even when confronted with a fritter’s problem.
BAD MONKEY is an excellent mix of voodoo and reality. The tone is sarcastic banter whenever possible. I liked the fact that Yancy is, in the end, who he is, and he makes no apologies for it. My only suggestion is to change the title. Viewers will understand.
