BAD MONKEY S1E1-2 🤩

BAD MONKEY is a continuous breath of fresh, snarky air surrounding a murder mystery and black magic on the side. It is an intriguing story that begins with an arm and a folksy, down-home narrator. It is a fun show so far as long as viewers are fans of Vince Vaughn and his style of yammering on and on.

I wasn’t sure I would want to watch this series, but the plot contains enough characters to raise the entertainment level. It isn’t even that absurd…so far, including an adorable BAD MONKEY. Be aware. He bites. I loved the joining of two stories juxtaposed to collide in one big fiasco. At least, that is my prediction and theory. But who knows?

The dialogue is non-stop chatting and bantering. The action is realistic and pretty believable. The locale is gorgeous, and the entire ensemble’s acidic, barbed comments can match Yancey’s (Vince Vaughn) any day of the week. I am hooked after watching only two installments. Kudos to the writers.

BAD MONKEY cannot be taken too seriously, and that’s the best part. It is a pure, comedic, who-done-it vacation to Miami and the Keys. Sign me up for a fishing excursion immediately.

BAD MONKEY is streaming on APPLE TV+.
