ANDREW SCHULZ: LIFE is a stand-up comedy special recorded in New York. It offered a realistic and raw take on conceiving a baby. Schulz’s path was difficult but ended with a heart-warming montage of birth. His hilarious, specific jokes were spot-on. Yes, there were dick details as well that shed a light on his “swimmers.” I was pleasantly surprised and found myself giggling and thoroughly entertained the entire hour.
Schulz speaks quickly while setting up his audience for the scores of punchlines and great storytelling. He has an incredulous look on his face, and it is easy to see he loves making people laugh. His timing is impeccable and his delivery is right on the edge of “daring one-liners.” The comedic beats are transparent because audiences will be able to see them coming from the tilt of his head and the glee deep within his eyes. I loved how he connected all the dots and took us full-circle. He is blunt and truly talks to both sexes like we have been friends for years.
ANDREW SCHULZ: LIFE is a funny dude. This special should set him apart and give him a boost. It was a great way to escape the political doldrums and remember LIFE is all around us.
