AND JUST LIKE THAT…offered a sexier episode this week while still dealing with some serious past issues. Although it was mildly entertaining, it still wasn’t enough, even with all the “flirking” going on.
My problem with the series centers around whether this season was necessary. Yes, I am pretty sure the cast would love to wrap up everyone’s story with a big bow, a period, and a “the end.” I’m not entirely convinced by what any of the characters are currently going through. Times have changed, and the writers should create pure escapism. The many dramatic arcs have got to go. Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte are what the fans love hearing about the most. It all currently feels very scattered.
AND JUST LIKE THAT… has lost its way, its strength, and its power as a women’s show. I miss my old TV friends. It’s just not the same.
AND JUST LIKE THAT… is streaming on HBO Max.
