AND JUST LIKE THAT… was a mixed bag of emotional highs and lows. Their intention of hitting viewers in the gut was spot-on. The writers provided glimpses into what living longer is all about and whether it is possible to be “Pollyanna” and tuck every issue safely away in a vault.
SILENT MODE handed out relief laughter in all the necessary moments. Who knew “a PIPPIN funeral” even existed? Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristen Davis were the anchors for the entire ensemble. Within Carrie’s world, it does take a village to survive. In all honesty, I liked this episode, but I still miss the lightheartedness that characterized the premise and plot at the beginning. It is heavy each week, and that is just too much like reality.
AND JUST LIKE THIS… needs to get their sexy, lusty lingerie back into view, or just stop teasing audiences that this is a spin-off of the SEX AND THE CITY franchise.
AND JUST LIKE THAT… is streaming on MAX.
