ALL OF YOU begins as a futuristic, dramatic, rom-com that plunges viewers into an overstated, frustrating moral dilemma. It truly rests on the chemistry between its two leads, Simon (Brett Goldstein, TED LASSO) and Laura (Imogen Poots, HEDDA). I can without any hesitation say they were smoldering.
Simon and Laura make every moment count. They are excellent and riveting. Their situation revolves around theory and a test. It asks who oversees our lives. Are we at fate’s mercy? Simon and Laura will pull at heartstrings until there are none left. This is the conundrum. I won’t reveal the results or consequences. I believe the film’s intentions are crystal clear, even though no one wants to accept them, and this is the paradox we all face while watching.
