ACAPULCO concludes with a fantastic bookend that makes the mid-tier final season worth watching. If you’ve watched the last three seasons of ACAPULCO, you know precisely what to expect when checking in to the Las Colinas hotel for another season. More character growth, Maximo continuing to put his foot in his mouth, and some awesome Spanish 80s song covers.
I’m impressed that Apple backed this series for 40 episodes. It’s the rare type of feel-good television that’s in the same camp as TED LASSO with a telenovela-light feel you don’t expect to see get made.
After four seasons, my stay at the Las Colinas hotel has concluded. I’m thankful that, as a guest, I got what the guest wants, which is an underrated series that I’ll continue recommending to others to watch. So sit back, grab a pool chair and towel, and enjoy one last visit to the Las Colina hotel.
The final season is streaming on Apple TV+.
