ABBOTT ELEMENTARY poked fun at adults who help their child create a science fair project for school. In their case, it was the teachers entering the competitive fray. It was a brave, nicely written episode sharing how crazy and carried away most people involved can become. It brought back memories of my family dynamic. Thank goodness science was not my thing as my kids were growing up, and there were other family mentors.ย
The entire ensemble was immersed in not being lenient when it came to the scientific world. This might have something to do with what is going on today. โGlitz and glamourโ will not prove theories and theorems. Winning is not always the key. Valuable lessons were subtly placed by the writers and reinforced with humorous moments.ย
ABBOTT ELEMENTARY is becoming more sophisticated in its storytelling. I am not sure where they are headed, but they are guiding education in a better direction for students, parents, and teachers.ย ย
