ABBOTT ELEMENTARY made its subplot the most profound part of this week’s episode. It is a question that keeps teachers up at night pondering how to light that fire under each of their students and show them the lifelong power of learning. Jacob (Chris Perfetti) was perfect during his quest. He touched my former teacherโs heart, remembering how challenging and rewarding this job truly is. Kudos to the writers for getting it right.ย
The rest of ABBOTT ELEMENTARY contained much humor as it delved into other areas, especially at the rich golf course next door. Charity can be a double-edged sword, especially when there is too much palmer and not enough Arnold in your drink.ย
