ABBOTT ELEMENTARY completed its fourth season on a high note that could have easily been the final episode for the series. I am hoping this is the case.
The comedy show about teaching has veered pretty far into left field, and it has begun making the ensemble too cartoonish for my tastes. The writers should have a plethora of story content to choose from when creating inspirational, dramatic, funny, and endearing teachers’ tales from the trenches. This is what drew me to ABBOTT ELEMENTARY in the beginning. This past season has shown it’s time to put a period at the end of its amazing run.
And this is what I am doing… thanks, ABBOTT ELEMENTARY. I enjoyed our time together. The education department can take it from here. PERIOD.
