Holy 💩!! What just happened? I just witnessed one of the most amazing episodes of a tv series. A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS…you delivered tenfold. My heart was bleeding as well the entire time. Excellent storytelling through the dense fog and whisper-small slat eye-slot. I heard myself yelling just as loudly as Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell).Â
Dunk (Peter Chaffee) was simply spot-on. His portrayal of a wannabe knight was courageously brave, allowing fans to feel the thrust of a sword or lance. The writers made sure to build layer upon layer of nonstop action, along with anguished, battling cries. It was mesmerizing, and when it ended, my breathing was just as choppy and shallow. Bravo. This episode made me feel like I was on the battlefield and bracing for each wound. It is the stuff nightmares are made from.Â
A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS gave audiences a glimpse of how wondrous and magical excellent acting, special effects, well-placed action, and story content can create an unforgettable picture. I am counting down the minutes until I can return to the finale.
