WOMEN IN BLUE S1E5 ANGELES 🤩

WOMEN IN BLUE is facing significant backlash for continuing their investigations of the deadly ‘undresser’ murder mystery. None of the four blue, mini-suited lady cops can stop themselves. Mexico should be giving them medals instead of misogynistic feedback. It is tough to live in a very machismo society where women “should know” their place is in the kitchen and bedroom.

WOMEN IN BLUE works well because of the strong talent level among the ensemble and the writers. Audiences are being swept deeper and deeper into a period decades ago when women had to deal with blatant prejudice and inequality. It is a fascinating journey, even if the plot is predictable.  I will be more than ready for their final comeuppance.

WOMEN IN BLUE is a bit on the soapy side of drama, but it is still worth your time to walk this walk through history. No one should have to hide their happiness. Women are long overdue to feel joy and contentment in life’s accomplishments.
