THIS IS US shared a lesson this week about patience and connections. We had front row seats in how to manage this Covid world and still be together for those magical life moments through tech and all its advances.

It was the week of births. Twins for Madison and Kevin and an adopted baby girl for Kate and Toby clear the path for the next generation of Pearson kids. Cue the box of Kleenex.

THIS IS US took it one step further to share those heartbreaking seconds of how we are able to stay connected during the pandemic and that no matter what happens or however hard the universe tries to keep us apart, we will continue. We we will find the strength to hold our families together.

“The world is a little nutty right now, but you will never, ever doubt your place in it,” Kate said to her newborn daughter.

This gives me hope that I, too, will one day hug my family again. Connectivity and patience…this is where all of us are in 2021.

THIS IS US is available to stream on NBC Peacock.
