THE PENGUIN gave viewers an exceptional episode this week. The writers shared Oswald’s (Colin Farrell) diabolical and malevolent instinctive behavior. Several gruesome, cringeworthy moments made me want to not watch, yet I could not turn away.
Kudos to Deirdre O’Connell’s superb performance as Os’s Mom. Talk about changing your personality on the turn of a dime… yikes! She is one twisted, dementia delight. She almost influenced me to wear a TOP HAT and tux while “tapping on a grave with Ginger Rogers.”
THE PENGUIN is top-tier TV. The characters and content move quickly with a quirky style. The finale is next week. If you have not tuned in, binge and catch up. I have no doubt it will be a wild and crazy conclusion.
