THE MORNING SHOW is taking viewers into the underbelly of Network “schmoozing.” It is dirty, degrading work, and not even strutting to STAYING ALIVE will make you feel “clean” again.
It is clear from the start that “bullshit can’t be outsourced,” so it is all hands on deck at Cory’s palatial, opulent home. “Wooing” is an art form, and it is clear no one will be able to “lick” their way out. With “Jemima Gate” still fresh in everyone’s mind, “Sugar Daddies” are squeezing the life out of UBA. “Ambush apologies” might not be enough for everyone to keep their jobs.
THE MORNING SHOW was a fun filler of an episode. It felt like one step forward and two steps back as audiences tried to decide who became the biggest punching bag of the evening. It is available to stream on Apple TV+.
