THE CHAIR COMPANY S1 REVIEW 😊

Tim Robinson’s comedy style is peculiar. It’s awkward, cringe to the “Max.” Robinson takes his unique brand of uncomfortable humor and blurs it with a conspiracy thriller in the bizarre series – THE CHAIR COMPANY.

Many things work in this series. Watching Robinson come unhinged in a conspiracy theory makes for enthralling TV. Yet, the series is far more interested in setting up non-sequiturs than in telling a complete story. But holy shit, those random comedy, suspense, and action bits throughout the series are so funny.

It’s unclear if Robinson’s character in THE CHAIR COMPANY is mentally stable. And that faulty-narrator quality should push audiences toward the thrilling conclusion, with a WTF did I watch reaction. So, pull up a chair, and tune in to see the most outlandish show of the year. Even with the cliffhanger finale, I’m all in to see where Robinson takes THE CHAIR COMPANY in season two.

The entire first season is available on HBO Max.
