I’ve said it before, and I’ll repeat it. TASK is a violent show that forces viewers to witness the crazed lives of drug dealers, a small band of bikers who want justice, and a community that is trying to survive. It is unforgiving and extremely tense in tone and attitude. The writers present both sides of the conflict through the FBI Task Force, led by Mark Ruffalo as Tom.
The theme that constantly stands out among every group involved in this take-down is that everyone has problems. No one gets through life without getting their hands a little dirty. Nothing is all black or white. TASK lives in the gray area, and it is thriving.
TASK is not for everyone. It is gritty and, quite frankly, there are no heroes. It is dark, and in every episode, someone gets viciously threatened, beaten up, or dies. Bring it on. You’ve got my attention.
