When starting the latest R&M, I thought, “Ugh, not a Summer-focused episode.” But then, I took Morty’s advice and “opened my mind” for a semi-enjoyable spoof on one of the craziest action SCI-FI films ever made (which I’m not going to spoil here). Almost ten years ago, RICK AND MORTY made its premiere on Adult Swim. The series has had its ups and downs, but as long-time fans know, those ups are so ricking-awesome you’ll slog through a president episode to get to the good stuff. With UNMORTRICKEN, the show easily delivers a top-five episode. Audiences can guess where things are heading from the opening montage, but it’s still shockingly fun.
