STRANGER THINGS S5E8 THE RIGHT SIDE UP ๐Ÿ˜Š

STRANGER THINGS: SEASON 5. (L to R) Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, and Noah Schnapp as Will Byers in STRANGER THINGS: SEASON 5. Cr. Courtesy of Netflix ยฉย 2025

STRANGER THINGS concluded five seasons with a take-down of monstrous proportions. It was a sci-fi extravaganza that was exciting and definitely over- the-top. But then what choice did the creators, the Duffer Brothers, really have? Nothing less would do for die-hard fans. The book-ended finale showcased an epic tale exactly as it began with gushing, dramatic assurances that once a D & D player, always a D & D player. Mike, the DM, filled our imaginations with magic, luck,  hope, and friendship. A good story never goes out of style.

STRANGER THINGS did have holes and several unanswered questions. It will make audiences wonder about the government and Armyโ€™s role in any of it. It will ask a huge request to suspend all disbelief. This is the only safe road to finally exit Hawkins, Indiana in one piece. After investing so many hours of my life in watching and fretting over this series, i did so reluctantly and with relief.

Over the past, fans have watched the entire ensemble grow up to become strong, confidant young adults. Each character stayed true to themselves throughout every tearful, argumentative, angst-driven milestone. The cast led audiences to learning how to cherish those we love. These are great lessons no matter how old or young at heart.

STRANGER THINGS was a vast undertaking. It filled our brains with creative storytelling. Some series never get an opportunity to place that period in the end before a cancellation notice could be delivered. I am glad this was not the case for STRANGER THINGS. Well-done. Now we can all visit Indiana again without fear or worry. It is streaming on Netflix.
