The penultimate episode has Santi do what the show is about – play golf. And for it, it’s that much better. Without a doubt, this is the best episode of the series before a messy plot mechanism makes its way into the finale next week.
When STICK explores grief, relationships, and redemption, it easily scores a birdie. Outside of a lame cliffhanger, E9 is the birdie the show should’ve consistently been. It will make audiences hopeful for a season two with more golf, Santi, and Stick.
