Finally, SKELETON CREW gets away from the backstories and adventures of the week to propel E7 to the main story. And wow, director Lee Isaac Chung (TWISTERS/MINARI) delivers a near-perfect penultimate episode of suspenseful reveals.
Elsewhere, it’s clear who the villain is in SKELETON CREW. The only thing still unclear is their motivation, which will hopefully be answered in next week’s season finale. I’m also thankful that the parents become part of the narrative again. What happens on At Attin shouldn’t stay off-camera – it’s one of the most compelling parts of this series.
The last few weeks have been STAR WARS filler, and in WE’RE GONNA BE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE, the creators “hoped you would be pleased” by the end results… and this fan was.
It’s available on Disney+.
