SPRINGSTEEN: DEIVER ME FROM NOWHERE ๐Ÿ˜Š

SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE will take fans back to 1982 and how the album NEBRASKA emerged while also creating his mega hit, BORN IN THE USA. It is based on Warren Zaneโ€™s best-selling novel.

Springsteenโ€™s spiraling journey is raw and at times seeped in manic, depressing moments. It is truthfully told, with nothing held back, so viewers become part of Springsteen clawing his way from darkness into the light of hope. Scott Cooper (CRAZY HEART) wrote and directed this docudrama. Casting Jeremy Allen White (THE BEAR, SHAMELESS) was pure genius.ย

Whiteโ€™s performance elevated this period piece out of the ordinary grayness of mental health. White shared an image of a talented man haunted by his past and hesitant to achieve fame. Through Whiteโ€™s thoughtful, intentional delivery, Springsteen came to life and even earned the Boss’s approval. It is a brilliant portrayal of an artist learning how to let go of his childhood demons. It was at times heartbreaking.ย

Springsteenโ€™s music was always front and center throughout this narrative. As was the fantastic supporting cast. Kudos to Paul Walter Hauser, Jeremy Strong, Stephen Graham, and Odessa Young. The film is rich with sublime, powerfully acted scenes that will entangle audiences deep within Springsteenโ€™s world.ย

SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE stands on the shoulders of fabulous, intimate performances, especially from White. Perhaps he will bring home the gold in celebration of an inspirational, iconic, legendary man who survived the pits of emotional despair.

It’s available to rent/purchase and stream at home.
