Well, that happened. SOUTH PARK launched its 27th season and attacked Donald Trump in a way that crossed several lines (especially in the pro-Trump PSA). Despite being so offensive, the episode wasn’t laugh-out-loud funny. It was more mid, and should leave audiences with a few grins while saying WTF just happened?!?!
Some of my favorite quotes this week:
- “What’s NPR?” The funniest show ever, where all the lesbians and Jews complain about stuff. The president has taken it off the air!”
- “Power Christian Principal. You can call me PC Principal.”
- “I think I know what’s happening – woke is dead.”

With how SOUTH PARK is made, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are still able to tap into the latest headlines (Epstein and the Paramount merger) to poke fun at the ridiculousness happening in our world today. It’s great to have SOUTH PARK back, and here’s to them airing the 49 remaining “pro-Trump PSAs.”
It’s available on Paramount+.
