SOUTH PARK “craps out” the season twenty-eight finale with an episode that’s more concerned with cameos and current political themes than being funny. Also, where the heck were Cartman and Kenny? Not having them featured took away from the magic of the boys being together on screen. And why did the creators bring back everyone’s favorite forest animals only to have them stand around as background?
Some of My Favorite Quotes This Week:
- “We need some God-damn Christmas magic.”
- “What the hell happened to Jesus?” / “He’s all Christian now.”
- “This is a great man protecting our country from facts.” / “This man is a con artist, and I will deal with him.”
****************
Everything from this season comes to a close as SOUTH PARK and Satin ‘deliver’ one of the worst episodes of the season. It’s a low note to go out on, and one that fans won’t be remembering anytime soon.
It’s available on Paramount+.
