The ChatGPT AI bits hit so well in this episode that it’s a damn shame the rest of SICKOFANCY wasn’t that funny. If it had been, E3 of the new season would easily have been the best. Sadly, as is, this is the weakest episode of season twenty-seven.
The biggest plus is that this was the final episode for Tegridy Farms. Long disliked by SOUTH PARK fans, Tegridy Farms hit its ‘high’ point when it first appeared, and the bit continued for one too many seasons, making for repetitive jokes whenever the show focused on Randy.
I’m glad that Tegridy Forms has gone “up in smoke,” and I’m thankful to see Matt Stone and Trey Parker go after AI. If Randy’s new obsession is that instead of weed, we are in for a treat with whatever the gang at SOUTH PARK cooks up next week.
