If anyone doubted if the new voice talents would have any chemistry with the old, thereâs nothing to fear as the latest episode teams up Rick and Jerry for a body-swapping⊠I mean, a brain-swapping episode. THE JERRICK TRAP does little to move the plot forward for the showâs characters. However, itâs okay to do that occasionally when the action and humor are so much damn fun. Whatâs keeping this episode from being a đ€© is the convoluted ending that hits the same story beats a bit too much before things (as always) return to normal.
Whatever your ârake situationâ is, I encourage you to âchugâ down this episode. Itâs a reminder of what RICK AND MORTY can be. Fresh, funny, and full of genre spoofs while not veering too far into gross-out humor.
