POLITE SOCIETY is an over-the-top high-kicking, sisterhood with shades of Bollywood film. Ria Khan played by Priya Kansara, must save her sister, Lena (Ritu Arya) and she will succeed no matter what. Cue the brilliant stunt work and the wild, crazy schemes.
This a movie that repeatedly begs parents to believe what their child is saying. Never “Poo-poo” their thoughts and fears, or the results could be devastating. It does not matter if you are being timid, too British, or silently proper. React. Do something drastic and save the day.
POLITE SOCIETY is fun, entertaining, and hilarious. It jabs at everything, the rich hold dear, but be forewarned. The wannabe stuntwoman is in the house, and she never gives up. “I am the fury!” I have no doubts.
POLITE SOCIETY shares how strong, powerful friendships can be, even when dealing with an insane enemy. It is well-written, fast-paced pure escapism that is now available to stream. Don’t miss this excellent romp. “Hi-yah.” I am ready to watch it again while striking my Kung-Fu pose.
