PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS have viewers a much more emphatic episode. For the first four installments, I was turned off by all the whining and teenage angst. Yes, it does indeed feel like things are different since Percy (Walker Scobell) took his water dive.
My favorite part of this series is meeting the writerโs modern take on the gods. Mars is a hoot. I was entertained by his sarcastic war talk. I must give a shout-out to the creative writing as well. The mythologies of ancient tales are told to keep younger audiences interested. It is working so far, especially when cheeseburgers, a motorcycle, and gold statues are involved. The combo is compelling.
PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANSย is now on a true detective quest. I am hoping no more strings will be broken along the way. It is available on Disney+.
