Woohoo! PEACEMAKER is back, premiering the first episode of season two. Every familiar character, as well as “Eagly” the eagle, makes their appearance in a bizarre opener that includes more naked bodies than I would care to count. The series has not lost its sarcastic edge or clever plot twists. Fans are off on a crazy journey as only the PEACEMAKER (John Cena) can provide. I would expect nothing less.
I do not want to spoil a moment. I will only say the opening is campy, fun, and sets the tone for what follows. The anger has intensified since season one. The confusion is real. Someone or something is messing with the rhythm of their reality. It is too soon for any theories or thoughts. I am excited to let it all unfold on PEACEMAKER’s terms. Time will tell.
PEACEMAKER is a delightfully entertaining dark comedy. Its madcap moments suggest viewers should buckle up. I believe we are in for a bumpy, but outstanding ride.
