Climb aboard our season two review of OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH. Two of us thought it was good, whereas one shipmate thought it was the perfect pirate treasure.

E1-E3 🤩

E1 IMPOSSIBLE BIRDS 😊

Well, that was a lot of setup!

E2 RED FLAGS 🤩

Despite our leads not sharing screen time in RED FLAGS, the irresistible charm of the pirate queen of China (Ruibo Qian) makes the second episode a must-watch.”

E3 THE INNKEEPER 🤩

“What I love about Max’s programming of OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH is I believe they are scheduling the episodes in thematic chunks. And E3 ends on the perfect cliffhanger to set up the exciting sophomore season.”

– Aaron

E4-E5 😊

“While E4 takes a detour into having a guest star that helps Stede and Blackbird, E5 was downright hilarious as it played like spoof horror. Both episodes are enjoyable and easy to watch, but I long for more after last year’s stellar first season.

– Aaron

E6 🤩, S2E7 😊

E6 & 7, and for that matter, S2 overall, has made the character of Izzy (Con O’Neill) much more likable for me than he was last year. I generally wrote him off in S1 and wouldn’t have been mad if he’d been killed. Now I’m so glad he’s there, serving as the conductor of the opera that is OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH.

– Jami

E8 MERMEN 😊

“OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH is coming back for a final third season. This is good news. Who knows what kind of trouble and adventures Blackbeard, Pirate Bonnet, and the Pirate Queen can find?

– Esta
