ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING continues to exist despite not having a point in this meandering fifth season. You know a show is in trouble when the robot is the most empathetic character in the building.
The first half of LESTR sees our favorite characters drowning their sorrows in alcohol, with bad one-liners, cameos, and zero plot progression. Despite a SCOOBY-DOO-like mechanism pushing things forward at the halfway mark, it’s too little too late in a season that might “murder” this once go-to comedic mystery.

As audiences attend the “last building meeting,” it’s clear the creators invested “a little too much in a robot (plot) that doesn’t care too much about them.” In other words, this is the worst episode of the season.
