ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING S3E10 OPENING NIGHT ๐Ÿ˜Š

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING ended its third season with a Broadway OPENING NIGHT to remember. It was shared from the Producerโ€™s point of view, which โ€œcan be funny, but people donโ€™t know that.โ€

It was in many ways, anti-climactic. Even with bail money, a dip addiction, too many confessions (I killed Ben, I killed Ben, I killed Ben), scene-stealing Matthew Broderick, a stunning, stupendous Streep, and โ€œmilking everything,โ€ it still fell short. The saving grace of the entire episode was the brief moments from the razzle, dazzle musical. But these were the same numbers viewers had watched previously. It made me wonder if the entire show had only three production numbers. A finale needs huge moments, especially on a Broadway stage.ย

There was a sweet second when two mothers and two sons were โ€œone.โ€ Mabel (Selina Gomez) has a way of sensing BS and getting to the heart of matters. Too bad she can only take LA in โ€œsmall doses.โ€

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING left audiences with another cliffhanger. I am hoping the next season will be better and more consistent. I missed those Martin/Short moments of surprise and hilarity. I need that silly, sleuthing, podcasting trio back in sync. Iโ€™ll even bring the extra dip.

It is available to stream on HULU.
